Last spring E and I attended a big party where the hosts had hired a tarot card reader for the guests.
Like many of the guests I had my fortune told. The woman who was doing the readings seemed competent, but for the life of me I can't remember what my fortune was. I recall that it was pleasant and non-specific in that horoscop-y kind of way.
Last weekend I was window shopping at a local ooo-woo bookstore, and I noticed they had a whole bunch of tarot cards for sale. Having for a moment more curiosity than sense, I briefly considered a purchase. And then I recalled that, as an Aries, we generally don't go for this sort of thing.

I have tarot cards and they are quite a lot of fun to do. They come with a booklet explaining what the cards mean and then each person applies the meaning to him/herself.
They are great for group gatherings over wine and cheese and a crackling fire.:)
Not like those Geminis, who fall for any silly thing.
ALL - Uh huh. Wine and cheese cures all ills...
Marvin - So I hear, lol.....
:)
Neat! Also you post in praise of thickets touched a chord with me. I stumbled into a similar view through my new interestin birding. My backyard abuts a cornfield. Closer to the house lots of birdfeeders. The lined the property line with red twigged dogwood (for winter) and old fashioned lilacs. Mowed for a couple of years and then let it all go. Now its a beautiful thicket/bramble and the birds love and some even nest in there... :)
troutbirder - Yours sounds like a fine example. It would be neat to learn exactly what species you see :)
